Secure Enclosures for Semi-Critical Systems

The new Proline Omega system represents a significant leap forward in technology security. An attractive yet very versatile high security enclosure system, it possesses a unique combination of security properties. Depending on the need, the Omega can be securely bolted down either Vertically or Horizontally using concealed anchor bolts. Alternatively, the optional Trans-IT kit will transform the Omega into a portable semi-static secure enclosure.

24 Hour - Round the Clock Protection

A major feature of the new Omega is it’s ability to protect your valuable systems without the need to be unlocked in order for them to be used or accessed, thus the Omega can remain permanently Locked - 24 hours a day. The Omega's excellent airflow properties ensures enclosed systems can safely operate 'around the clock' without fear of over heating.

Key Management - Total Asset Control

The ability to allow normal PC operation whilst being securely locked is a major feature of the Proline Omega. One of the benefits gained is Key Management. From a company perspective, management may allow the end user to remain the authorised key holder to his or her own system or choose a centralised key holding policy, whereby all keys are held under management control, themselves under lock and key. Centralised key holding will provide Total Asset Control and prevent valuable equipment going astray!. It would also serve to protect systems against a possible ‘day time’ armed robbery.

A Furniture Friendly System

Companies with investments in expensive office / executive furniture will undoubtedly wish to avoid drilling or defacing such furniture if at all possible. The Proline Omega employed in it's transportable mode, is the only security system that can provide high levels of security without needing to deface furniture to achieve it. If required and at any time it may be used as a static bolt-down system, capable of being secured to a work surface floor or wall.

The Integral Rolling Bar System

The thoughtful innovation that made the 3D containment system so popular, has once again been instrumental in the design of the Omega. To achieve total enclosure without involving the operator in a daily unlock / lock ritual, we developed the Integral Rolling Bar System. A versatile yet incredibly secure system of free-rolling stainless steel bars allowing many secure combinations. Located within the Omega's front framework are 5 location points evenly distributed across the front of the unit into which any of the 3 individual stainless steel bars may be positioned. The number of bars used and in what combination, will depend up on the design of the PC involved. If required these bars will serve as Drive Prohibitors, ensuring floppy, tape or CD-ROM drives are not accessible other than by authorised key holders. Each bar when locked in position remains Free-Rolling. This prevents the bars from being compromised by hacksaw or angle-grinder. The exceptional strength and resilience of these 15mm Top-Grade stainless steel bars adds the finishing touch.

Safety Considerations

Health and Safety is always an important consideration in every Secure IT design. The Omega is an excellent example of this. The unique locking system, integral rolling-bar barring system and anchor bolts are all concealed with the unit itself leaving a smooth safe exterior with no sharp edges and only a minimal semi-flush protrusion below the desk surface.

Data Media Containment

Without the need for gimmicks or optional extras, the Proline Omega provides Media Access Security for floppy, tape and CD-ROM drives, preventing data from being removed without the knowledge of your systems manager. Valuable CD media can also remain available as a shared resource without the threat of it being misappropriated.
